The Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam, conducted by UPSC, is one of India’s most prestigious defence entrance exams. It is held twice a year to recruit officers into the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force through IMA, INA, AFA, and OTA. Eligibility Criteria

- Nationality: Indian citizen, subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came before January 1, 1962.
- Age Limit:
  - IMA: 19-24 years
  - INA: 19-22 years
  - AFA: 19-23 years
  - OTA: 19-25 years (both men & women)
- Educational Qualification:
  - IMA & OTA: Any degree from a recognized university.
  - INA: Engineering degree.
  - AFA: Physics & Maths at 10+2 + degree in engineering/science.
- Marital Status: Unmarried (for IMA, INA, AFA). OTA allows unmarried men & women.
