Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility for IISc varies by program:
For B.Sc (Research): Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is through JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or NEET scores.
For M.Tech / M.Des: A valid GATE score is required along with a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
For M.Sc & Integrated Ph.D: Admissions are based on JAM scores and written tests/interviews by IISc.
For Ph.D: Master’s degree with a valid GATE/NET/JRF or equivalent.
